Description
Reuters News Thailand is looking for a dynamic video journalist. The successful candidate will have a passion for television news with a strong background and understanding of what makes for good broadcast stories.
Sound news judgment is essential with ability to multi-task and work effectively in high pressure situations.
Frequent travel, both within Thailand and overseas, with little advance notice, is part of the job, as well as the ability to work well in team efforts.
As video journalist, the successful candidate will be required to have full responsibility in gathering information and producing the news story. This ranges from the story's origination, required research, news sources, filming and editing video as well as writing or rewriting scripts under tight deadlines. Excellent spoken and written English-language skills are mandatory, and a Thai-language capability would be a considerable advantage.
