Understand client requirements and engineering technology background to provide IP related research / analysis.



Analyzes clients' needs, collects information and controls schedule.
Understands specialized areas of technologies and the latest trend.
Acquires IP laws of main countries related to novelty / infringement search and catches up the revision of laws.
Acquires capability of expression and presentation of appealing outcome using MS word/excel for reporting and explanation.
Constructs search design, (appropriate IPCs and keywords considering synonyms) in order to achieve high cost performance.
Negotiates with clients. However, this kind of opportunities is less frequent.

Qualifications



1. Expertise in specific technology as follows:
Physics, Optics, Semiconductor, Electronics, Electricity, Mechanics or Automobile
2. Language Skill: Native Japanese, Reading documents in English



1. Knowledge of intellectual property law required for searches
2. Capability of making search reports in English
3. English communication skill (conversation)
4. Capability of planning search design (constructing search queries)
5. Intellectual property related business experience
6. R& D related business experience

7. Master Degree, or PhD. Qualification of patent attorney (Benrishi) certification
