Description
Reuters Electronic Trading-Automated Dealing (RET) is an automated trading system that is internet-based, rich in functionality and flexible. It enables banks to offer their corporate and institutional customer the ability to trade directly with them over the internet. Thomson Reuters RET/CFETS Support team is seeking a talented Support Consultant to join our support team. We are a professional software support team providing service to internal and external customers, including large international banking and financial firms. The successful applicants will be assigned into RET/CFETS Support Consultant team to work on the day-to-day technical problems solving and root cause analysis to meet high service level standard.
JOB DESCRIPTION - Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional support and investigate issues (including proactive support) raised by clients and providing Root Cause Analysis within service target and defined support processes, for instances global process, RSTL, RET/CFETS, Transactions network and platform, need to be strictly followed. - Review and debug the scripts/configuration of the product including all relevant logs which he/she is in charge of. - Produce professional investigation report according to assigned Service Requests - Produce Knowledge Object (KO) according to assigned topics and review other KOs as request. - Initiate actions to resolve the Service Request which may be by email, teleconference or other methods with: - Providing advices or training to other level of supports relevant to the application functionality, correct operation or constraints; - Advising a workaround or making general or site-specific modifications; - Actively share/propose thought of any innovative, improvement or enhancement on his/her in-charge product which benefit to customers and Reuters. This is applicable to initiate the RET/CFETS Support Tools.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. - Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields. - Experienced in technical support and/or customer support area. - 1-2 years programming experience on C++ and/or JAVA. - Familiar with Unix and Window Operating System and have computer networking background - Strong troubleshooting, communication and problem analysis - Ability to acquire knowledge needed to handle technical issues through self-learning. - Have positive attitude to work as part of a team. - Background experience in Financial business and FOREX trading is also an advantage. - Good verbal and written English skills. - A proactive, team player with the ability to work in dynamic environments. - Thai national or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to obtain a work permit
