Based in Beijing the job will take responsibility for full coverage of all the aspects of the auto sector across the region and drive the file and newsedit the team of correspondents. The job will ensure in depth coverage and regular exclusives from the sector so a candidate must have a proven track record and a top notch contact list The job is very much hands on and the successful candidate will have a high profile presence on the file and work to provide a multimedia product. The Auto sector is a hugely important revenue earner for Asia, particularly with the car industry in China as huge as it is. When China hits its stride in terms of car exports it will be a force to be reckoned with and massive on a global scale. There is a strong appetite for good, timely information and news.
