Culture Odyssey runs in parallel to PAULEY's innovation and visual communications work. The site reflects PAULEY's belief in the power of natural and man-made design to improve products, services and the world at large.
PAULEY is searching for a Business Development Manager to run its CultureOdyssey.com site. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and writing content, building the site's brand, creating a profitable business proposition and using the CultureOdyssey site to develop awareness of PAULEY's expertise in design and innovation. The role combines both journalism and sales duties. The successful candidate would ideally have:
- Proven journalistic skills, ideally with an online background
- Sales and PR experience, especially in the service sector
- Fantastic networking and relationship-building skills
- An interest in global culture, events and design
- A knowledge of social media and SEO
The successful candidate will have an exciting opportunity to develop an existing website into an editorially and commercially profitable brand – one that contributes to the commercial activities of PAULEY. This is an exciting new role with a wealth of opportunities for a pro-active person. It would be ideal for someone with good journalistic skills looking to broaden their experience in a more commercially-focused online direction. Salary and benefits subject to experience.
