The qualified individual will be part of the development team to develop and maintain the global exchange data administration system. The team is responsible for enabling the core infrastructure and relevant applications to automate the file maintenance process for commodity & energy data. Successful applicant will be responsible for the requirement clarification, design and implement and document of the applications/system, and post release support.

Qualifications

- Good understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented design, analysis
- 6+ years of hands on experience with Java programming like Struts, JDBC, JMS, XML, Web Service, Hibernate or other OR mapping tools, Spring, AJAX etc.
- Demonstrated experience on Java development on Application Server like WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat etc.
- Experience/Knowledge of Oracle database, PL/SQL would be a strong plus.
- Strong on critical thinking and analytical skills
- Familiar with Solaris or other Unix variant
- Interest in financial market, and willing to put efforts to learn on it.
- Ability to communicate in English in both verbal and written.
- Passion for learning and strong learning skills
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Prior team management experiences will be a plus
