Full time Economics research analyst for the support of Brazil and Latin America expansion. Analyst will be on fixed American time zone shift.

Duties:

- Expand Brazilian market coverage
- Responsible for maintaining macroeconmics time series for Brazil and possibly other Latin American countries
- Maintain data to an agreed set of compliance standards for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness
- Collect metadata; resolves data queries in a timely and effective manner

Key responsibilities include:

· Create new Brazilian and possibly other LatAm series using current and new sources
· Update core and/or add-on database of time series of economic indicators
· To ensure that data is collected, input and validated to the required standards of accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
· To deal with the sources of core and add-on economic data
· Recommend ideas for improving the efficiency of procedures.
· Validate data regularly in accordance with operational procedures for ongoing Quality Assurance.
· Ensure that all data queries internal or external are responded to within a specific time frame.
· Support other analysts from different regions and locations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Fluent in English
· Other languages (Portuguese and Spanish) would be a plus
· Graduate likely in Business, Finance or Economics related fields
· Excellent verbal/numerical skills
· Attention to detail
· MS Excel to intermediate level
· Computer literate and comfortable using many different in-house computer systems
· Ability to develop rapport with contacts and utilize to best effect
· Ability to be proactive and self reliant
· Ability to work on shifts
· Team Player
