Position Summary:
This position serves as the sales support lead for Omgeo's derivative solutions in the Asia Pacific market, with focus on providing subject matter expertise for Omgeo's listed derivatives (Exchange Traded Derivatives) solution within the region. This individual will be responsible for informing and executing on sales strategies, and partnering directly with sales and RM teams to build client community. S/He will also provide thought leadership within the market, representing Omgeo in client forums and industry meetings.
Accountabilities:
- Provide business level support within the Asia Pac region to ensure Exchange Traded Derivative's (ETD) related sales goals are achieved. - Work with the ETD Sales Program Manager to agree on an executable APAC plan for ETDs, and assume responsibility for seeing this through. - Interaction with local sales and RM Directors and their team to articulate the strategy and roll out plan, as well as take feedback and local views to feed back into the global ETD Sales strategy. - Work with Omgeo Strategy team to segment the local market, specifically looking at market analysis to identify which markets are addressable to Omgeo and some detail around priorities. - Support sales efforts, from prospecting to deal closure. Specifically in this capacity, provide subject matter expertise on client calls, delivery of presentations, etc?; Liaise with sales directors to monitor pipeline developments; Partner with product team to facilitate demos. - Collaborate with product managers to understand client business needs and translate into business requirements for future product enhancements. - Represent Omgeo at industry working groups and events/conferences to influence and stay abreast of industry best practices and standards. Participate in Omgeo sponsored client events and client working party sessions. - Partner with Global Partners team to identify potential partnership/strategic alliance opportunities to drive new business through vendor relationships and new channels. - Monitor competitive landscape to effectively position the Omgeo solution and value proposition against alternatives
Decision Making:
- Ownership for driving and execution of the ETD sales strategy in Asia Pacific - Sign off on units/revenue - Sign off on regional marketing plans - Price discounting - Strategic Partnerships

Qualifications
Experience:
- 10 to 15 years operations experience in a Financial Services firm vendor or client-side with derivatives exposure - Specific knowledge of derivatives operations and reconciliation process. ETD preferred. - Additional banking/trading knowledge in derivatives, collateral management, exchange traded derivatives, securities lending, margining activities - Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred. - Knowledge of ETD derivatives vendor landscape.
Competencies:
- Strong presentation and sales skills with previous client-facing/relationship management/industry relations experience. - Experience in business development - Excellent relationship management skills/Industry Relations experience - Strong project management, process implementation, problem solving, influencing, and leadership skills - Ability to advocate/influence and gain internal and external support for market segment - Excellent verbal and communications skills - Ability to build strong professional partnerships with cross-functional groups
