Description

The position, Software Engineer, is for development and maintenance of DTS/ATS product. ATS, Advanced Transformation Server, is Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform product.

Responsibilities

- Analyze development requirements, design and develop software for new development projects

- Investigate and implement fix or enhancement for care & maintenance products

- Translate technical requirements into application code and modules.

- Unit test and ensure application meets needs of client and business requirements.

- Take part in review of own works and work of colleagues.

- Do documentation (basic design, specification, new feature descriptions)

- Complete the objectives of each assignment (typically project tasks).

- Comply with Thomson Reuters' standard process in software development

Qualifications

- Working experience is not mandatory
- Knowledge in C/C++ programming.
- Basic Knowledge of Unix/Linux platform
- Basic Knowledge in TCP/IP programming.
- Basic understanding of Object Oriented concept.
- Typical Knowledge and experience in all phases of software development life cycle.
- Basic Knowledge in multithreaded programming and network programming.
- Demonstrates ability to identify and solve complex problems at component or feature level.
- Fast learner of technical concepts and skills.
- Ability to work with a minimal supervision.
- Dedicated team player with ability and willingness to learn new things.
- Good command of English communication skills especially writing and reading.
