Overview:

Thomson Reuters Eikon is the next generation of Thomson Reuters Markets desktop information products, and is transforming this business by delivering compelling and customer driven products over a single, flexible and robust platform.

This role resides within the Desktop platform Technology Operations Delivery team, which has accountability for end to end Eikon infrastructure project and enhancement delivery, representing Technology Operations to key Eikon project stakeholders in the business. The Desktop platform Technology Operations team is based in the US, Argentina, Geneva, India, Singapore and Bangkok.

Responsibilities:

- You will be integrated into a project team and will have the opportunity to participate in multiple projects pertaining to the Eikon infrastructures.
- You will be responsible for project coordination across the implementation, development, programme, quality assurance teams globally.
- You will lead the project engineers and assign their tasks to the engineers for a given project, follow-through to completion, report on progress, work closely with the project managers against the project schedule, and suggest efficiencies.
- To ensure smooth transitions between project and BAU phases, you work closely with the support teams, colleagues and stake holder globally.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- 4+ years experience in project coordination or management in a complex IT organization.
- Excellent English Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Highly motivated individual, with a positive & pro-active attitude to work, and willingness to make changes to improve operational efficiency through innovation, process and procedure, and adopting and adapting ideas and practices from elsewhere.
- Ability to act rapidly and logically under pressure, and make effective use of others in resolving problems.
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule.
- Able to work in a dispersed functional team and individually with minimum supervision.
- Ability to multitask and to work under pressure with changing priorities is essential.
- Logical & Systematic Approach to problem solving.
- Writing skills for documentation, building & maintaining relationships, problem solving and decision making, end to end ownership for customer satisfaction through levels of support, planning and organisation & working well within a virtual team are the required key soft skills.
- Thai national or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to obtain a work permit.
