Overview:
Thomson Reuters Spreadsheet Link (TRSL) is a powerful tool that allows investment professionals to integrate leading Thomson Reuters content, such as Worldscope Fundamentals, IBES estimates, holdings information and global equity pricing, in Excel spreadsheets. The tool supports complex 'on-the-fly' analytics, screening, portfolio analysis (integrated into Thomson Reuters Portfolio Warehouse), and click-thru audit capabilities to help analysts, portfolio managers and investment bankers do their jobs. TRSL also promotes collaboration, facilitating the sharing of templates, reports, screens and expressions between users.
The role of the Associate on the Global Business Consulting Team will be to provide consulting services around Thomson Reuters Spreadsheet Link, the other components of the Deal Analytics platform and the Blueprint-Pitchbook Tool. Associates are critical to the overall support model in that they provide the necessary flexibility for senior colleagues to be client facing while they remain at the office. This role requires a commitment to this responsibility and has growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Promote effective usage of Thomson Reuters' analytics products among clients in financial industry (investment bankers, investment managers, research analysts, etc.) - Deal with queries or questions from clients on contents and functionality of our products and services over phone and by e-mail - Understand clients' needs and automate clients' workflow by customizing templates for clients - Provide suggestions and recommendations to the product team in terms of improving our products.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
University degree in financial markets related fields preferred
Required Skills:
- Native Japanese, proficient English, both written and spoken - Proficient in PC skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint (VBA experience is preferable) - Work experience either in financial markets, financial information services, or customer support function is preferable - Excellent communication skills - Intellectually-curious and eager to learn new things - Client-centered mindset and attitude - Keen eyes for details
