POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position serves as the sales support lead for Omgeo's derivative solutions in the Asia Pacific market, with focus on providing subject matter expertise for Omgeo's listed derivatives (Exchange Traded Derivatives) solution within the region. - Work with the ETD Sales Program Manager to agree on an executable APAC plan for ETDs, and assume responsibility for seeing this through.
- Interaction with local sales and RM Directors and their team to articulate the strategy and roll out plan, as well as take feedback and local views to feed back into the global ETD Sales strategy.
- Work with Omgeo Strategy team to segment the local market, specifically looking at market analysis to identify which markets are addressable to Omgeo and some detail around priorities.
- Support sales efforts, from prospecting to deal closure. Specifically in this capacity, provide subject matter expertise on client calls, delivery of presentations, etc?; Liaise with sales directors to monitor pipeline developments; Partner with product team to facilitate demos.
- Collaborate with product managers to understand client business needs and translate into business requirements for future product enhancements.
- Represent Omgeo at industry working groups and events/conferences to influence and stay abreast of industry best practices and standards. Participate in Omgeo sponsored client events and client working party sessions.
- Partner with Global Partners team to identify potential partnership/strategic alliance opportunities to drive new business through vendor relationships and new channels.
- Monitor competitive landscape to effectively position the Omgeo solution and value proposition against alternatives

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE:

- 10 to 15 years operations experience in a Financial Services firm vendor or client-side with derivatives exposure
- Specific knowledge of derivatives operations and reconciliation process. ETD preferred.
- Additional banking/trading knowledge in derivatives, collateral management, exchange traded derivatives, securities lending, margining activities
- Knowledge of ETD derivatives vendor landscape.

Job Summary

Assists with the generation of new business and ensures growth of the business in Asia via knowledge of Configuring the eGRC technology Solution to support Internal Audit, Financial Control Management, Compliance and Regulatory Risk workflows. As Asia is a newer market for the platform, this position will be self sufficient, but must be able to adapt and change and grow a pre-sales and implementation function in Asia for the business. Job Summary

Assists with the generation of new business and ensures growth of the business in Asia via knowledge of Configuring the eGRC technology Solution to support Internal Audit, Financial Control Management, Compliance and Regulatory Risk workflows. As Asia is a newer market for the platform, this position will be self sufficient, but must be able to adapt and change and grow a pre-sales and implementation function in Asia for the business. Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs. Provides technical training to clients in the sales and implementation processes and communicates customer feedback into future product developments. Position Summary:

Overview:

Reuters, the world's largest international multimedia news agency, is looking for talented students or recent graduates for its 2012 Asia summer internship program to be placed in various bureaux across Asia. The 8-week paid internships are a crash course in hands-on business, political and general news reporting. Every intern will report to a senior editor and be assigned a journalist mentor to provide advice and guidance during the summer. Interns are expected to write regularly and deliver in-depth stories during their assignment. Interns will receive several days of training before they start work, focused on writing skills, journalism ethics, and basic financial knowledge. They may also be able to take advantage of other, regularly scheduled training opportunities during the summer, depending on where they're based. Interns who excel may be considered for other opportunities, including the Reuters Journalism Trainee Programme or junior reporting roles. The intensive Journalism Trainee Programme, which begins in September 2012 in New York, London and Singapore, offers nine months of training and leads into a staff job if required standards are met.

Lead the HR function for North Asia (Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan) for Thomson Reuters Markets, delivering efficient and customer focused HR operational services to the leaders and 800 employees across all businesses within this diverse region.

Ø Ensure all HR operational processes within North Asia are delivered efficiently and in compliance with global policies and local regulations, including new hire, employee changes, termination and benefit administration; within the overall global HR operations framework, drive increased customer satisfaction within North Asia, by continually improving service delivery and communications.

Ø Provide local business partnering support to leaders within the region, supporting global HR business partners to deliver the people strategy and agenda that will help achieve their business unit objectives; primary business partner relationships will be with the Senior Site Representative for Hong Kong (and Head of Account Management, North Asia), the Head of Client Specialist & Knowledge Network Asia, the VP Reuters Media Asia, and the Head of Specialist Sales FX/FI Asia, as well as other senior Hong Kong based managers in Sales, Strategic Business Units and Corporate Functions.

Ø As a member of the North Asia leadership team, provide advice to site leaders on building a compelling employee value proposition (EVP), working environment and organizational culture, which will attract and retain the best local, regional and global talent.

Ø Lead employee relations matters for North Asia in a manner consistent with the company values, driving a culture of performance and accountability, while complying with local regulations and appropriately managing risk for the company; build constructive relationships with unions and other employee representative bodies and lead consultation and negotiation processes where required; manage employee relations cases according to our internal policies and external regulations, and personally lead more complex cases and investigations; maintain and provide advice on local HR policies for each North Asia country that comply with local regulations and are aligned with global policies and values.

Ø Build the talent acquisition capability within the North Asia HR team and business leaders, so that the resourcing and talent needs of the businesses are met innovatively and cost effectively; build networks and partnerships within local communities (e.g. Universities) to promote the Thomson Reuters employment brand and career opportunities, and to source future talent.

Ø Execute compensation and benefits processes for North Asia, including global processes (annual salary review) and maintain local benefit plans (e.g. pension, healthcare, insurance); where required, provide local market intelligence to Reward team to ensure that compensation and benefits remain competitive and are aligned with the global Reward philosophy; provide consultation to local leaders on reward issues consistent with our pay-for-performance philosophy.

Ø In conjunction with the Markets Talent organization, and relevant global HR business partners, deliver global talent management and performance management processes within North Asia; develop or broker internal/external providers for local talent, organizational development and learning initiatives where required to supplement global programs; ensures leaders are effectively and proactively managing staff performance.

Ø Deliver the HR aspects of organizational changes that arise from global business unit transformations, including organizational restructures, reductions-in-force, outsourcing/insourcing, acquisitions/divestments, global workforce rebalancing; provide local HR business partnering support to leaders on local or regional organizational change projects.

Ø Lead the delivery of selected regional HR projects, and contribute to pan-Asia people strategy and plans as a member of the Asia HR Leadership team.

Ø Lead the North Asia HR team, comprising of local HR business partners, talent acquisition specialist and administrative personnel, building their engagement and capability.

Ø Collaborate with other HR specialist groups such as Global Mobility, Talent and HRIS, as well as Professional division HR, to build a culture of 'OneHR' amongst the HR team at the Singapore site.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education, Experience, and Requirements

- Business, HR, or relevant university degree
- Significant experience as a senior HR leader, ideally on a global or multi-country basis
- Extensive HR operations management experience, preferably within a large MNC
- In depth understanding of the North Asia region and its diverse cultures, and proficiency in an Asian language highly desirable

Educational Skills

The Product Specialist role is to provide second level support on TR products. The Product Specialist is the point of contact for escalated and more complex issues regarding functionality, data, service/admin, etc. The Product Specialist team has some contact with customers, interacting directly with customers if it facilitates a more immediate resolution of a client issue; the role predominantly involves working with CSEs within the TRCS to resolve customers' enquiries in a timely manner. - Acting as an escalation point for product queries that cannot be solved by the first level within a certain timeframe.
- Provide direct telephone support to clients when required.
- Proactively maintain a high level of knowledge about the specialist product area(s) and market(s) through self study, research, and analysis.
- Exchange information and share knowledge with the team to maximise knowledge and the effectiveness of the specialist group as a whole.
- Support and champion knowledge development within the Asia TRCS for responsible product and market segments. Conduct analysis of escalated issues and work with the TRCS team to spread knowledge closer to the customer.

- Manage and drive conclusions with next level resolver groups, in order to bring closure for escalated issues and meet customer demands for problem resolution.
- Build relationships internally and externally to core stakeholders of specialist product area(s).
- Ensure the upkeep of the Knowledge databases on designated products to maintain its relevance and pertinence.
- Champion CAZ and roll out to frontline owners
- Provide timely progress reports to illustrate progress being made against targets
- Management of Queues in Siebel to ensure that CSEs achieve targets

Qualifications

- Life Science background is must, preferably holding either M. Sc. or Ph. D. especially in pharmacy, pharmacology, bio-chemistry, chemistry. molecular biology, pharmaceutical or Pathology.

Overview:

Data centers over Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia rely on you for active great technical support. Your technical expertise will help us make the most effective support team for global support.

This Technical Specialist position is part of a small dynamic team within Global Operations to manage implementation and provide Technical Support for Common Platform Shared Services. This Role also includes additional responsibilities where necessary such as Integration with production and operational management networks and ensuring compliance to policies and standards for Process, Technology and Security. This role facilitates the knowledge and experience to regional team for any of their local implementations with the working relationship with various global technology teams.

Responsibilities:

1. ) Implementation Responsibilities:

- Hands on & Execution of Implementation works for new and upgrade of IT Infrastructure with standard platforms on Network/Servers Technologies carried out in compliance with best practices as categorized in the following.
- Release Management: Using Release Management Process for deployment and implementation which includes Disaster Recovery Site with defined Technical Recovery Plan. Perform validation and vetting of documentations that include OPS Runbook, Support Manual, Work Instructions, Check List, Known Errors and Deficiency List which are required for effective Incident Management. Integration of all devices to the Monitoring System.
- Change Management: Responsible to validate and vet Change Request to ensure compliance that includes verification checks & fallback procedures.

2. ) Technical Support Responsibilities:

Take Global support role for Asia, EMEA and US. Provide Point of escalation Contact for 2nd level troubleshooting with end-to-end ownership for technical support carried out in compliance with best practices as categorized in the following.

- Incident Management: Provide Single Point of Contact to fix or escalate incidents with agreed Mean-Time-To-Recover (MTTR) for service restoration and also using tools to analyse incident and ensuring process compliance.
- Providing Service Recovery Work Instruction to 1st Level Operations and assistance to fix 80% of incident by them.
- Being a member of Technical Recovery Team to resolve severe incidents and also escalation to Management followed with Post Incident Review of Work Process & Instructions.
- Problem Management: Analysing & defining problems using Problem Management Tools for Root Cause Analysis and update entries to the Known Error Database.
- ITSCM: Executes Power Down Test & Site Failover Test, which includes recovery action.
- Facilitation of support knowledge and experience to the regional team members for their local implementation.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- 2 - 6 years experience on application server support or implementation roles.
- Specialized Knowledge with Hands-on experience in Sun(Solaris10) for implementation and support roles.
- Experience with complex product environment for application support with thorough understanding on data flow and architecture would be advantage.
- Highly motivated individual, with a positive & pro-active attitude to work, and willingness to make changes to improve operational efficiency through innovation, process and procedure, and adopting and adapting ideas and practices from elsewhere.
- Ability to act rapidly and logically under pressure, and make effective use of others in resolving problems.
- Strong English communication.
- Ability to work in flexible schedule.
- Thai national or must be legally able to work in Thailand without the company having to obtain a work permit.

Preferable Qualifications:

- Knowledge with IBM WAS (Websphere Application Server) is an advantage.
- Knowledge on IT Security and ISO 27001 requirements.
- Thomson Reuters Product Expertise with Applications Infrastructures in Data Centre such as RKWM, TIBCO, DACS etc and Client Site Experience with RMDS, cDBU etc.
- Experience with the ITIL Process method of working for Incident, Problem, Change, Release & Configuration Management Tasks covering analysis & execution.

Project Summary and Position Overview:

This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the Area Controller, for South East Asia. This role is under corporate Accounting Services.

The jobholder will be assuming responsibility of key accounting components: subsidiary & branch accounting, statutory reporting, year end submissions and other accounting areas, to meet and exceed customer service level agreements for the accounting and control service for business units, providing compliance with Thomson Reuters policy, IFRS and Local Tax & GAAP requirements. The jobholder needs to have the interest, motivation and drive to want to engage various people throughout the local organization to be able to identify business issues/developments and tax exposures.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Statutory and Management Accounting

- To ensure compliance of procedures with Thomson Reuters policies, IFRS and differing regulatory requirements
- To be responsible for:
o statutory accounting (both group and local);
o annual statutory audits (external);
o indirect tax , withholding tax and corporate tax reporting
o internal tax reporting (tax pack reporting, Canadian reporting, tax risks etc)
o maintaining adequate internal reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley control processes and documentation.
o Tax audits , VAT audits, Thailand tax incentive requirements etc.
o Company secretary
- To be a key point of contact for Thailand on financial information queries and updates and compliance matters
- To provide Ernst & Young with all pre-agreed information required for preparation of indirect tax, WHT and Corporate Income Tax and other returns or compliance reporting obligations as required for countries of responsibility in the form of standard reports.
- To review outputs coming from E&Y relating to preparation of withholding tax,vat, corporate tax returns and any other returns
- To ensure all WHT and VAT reconciliations maintained by GSC /GOFIT are clean and up to date monthly .
- To review transfer pricing fees calculation from Transfer Pricing Administration Group
- To regularly monitor and update tax compliance and filing logs.
- To work with E&Y or other service providers provide additional reports and information as required by tax inspectors and other regulatory bodies.
- To liaise with corporate secretary and lawyers pertaining to any changes required for the entity.
- To review Balance Sheet reconciliations prepared by the GSC and seek input from local business units (if needed) and ensure that all outstanding items are cleared effectively.
- To ensure that financial /tax opportunities and exposures are uncovered through out the year..
- To act as the interface between GSC , EY and PwC.
- To compile financial schedules and perform various ad hoc projects as required.
- To coordinate region-wide financial activities, including, but not limited to, audits and tax pack.
- To drive continuous process improvement for activities under the Financial Accounting Controllership Team.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or a relevant professional accounting qualification (eg ACCA, CIMA) is essential.

Required Skills :

- Recognised professional accountancy qualification typically with min 3-5 years post qualification experience.
- Previous controller experience/training and/or shared services experience, with multinational corporations ( Preference will be given to candidate with accounting /auditing experience in Thailand or SE Asia companies
- Fluency in Thai and able to read Thai Language
- Proven ability to form strong customer relationships, an understanding of customer focus and service delivery
- Efficient work ethics with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills, and qualities of a good team player
- Drive & self motivation with the ability to work independently & deliver under pressure
- Professional and mature attitude
- Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for the Business Unit Controller role

Desired Skills :

- Prior hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, payroll accounting and/or management accounting and reporting
- Knowledge and experience with Direct and Indirect Tax an advantage
- Professional accounting qualifications and financial analysis experience an advantage
- Good working knowledge of SAP financial applications , excel & understanding of end to end accounting process an advantage
