Change & Release Management works directly with the CTS functional areas (Deployment, Delivery, TSG) to ensure that planned changes are compliant with agreed process and risks are identified. As CTS applies change to customer sites it is important that all steps are understood and minimize the risk of issues as result of change to customers. The Service Management team in Customer Technical Services (CTS) will play a critical role in the newly restructured CTS organisation to ensure that CTS delivers and efficient, consistent, reliable and high quality service in order to increase customer satisfaction. This role resides within the One Platform Technology Operations Delivery team, which has accountability for end to end Eikon infrastructure project and enhancement delivery, representing Technology Operations to key Eikon project stakeholders in the business. This role leads a team of 8-10 full time employees and contractors; and is responsible to manage upgrades to the One Platform Production and Pre-Production environments globally, working closely with sub contractors in Technology Operations such as IaaS(Infrastructure as a Service).

The One Platform Technology Operations team is based in the US, Argentina, Geneva, India, Singapore and Bangkok.

Responsibilities:

- Provide a point of contact for day to day Eikon Implementation issues and to manage the Implementation Planning elements. This may involve project planning, scheduling, coordination across multiple teams and time zones, as well as managing and providing a point of technical escalation for the technical specialists teams.
- Role will include Staff Management for a team of approximately 8-10 FTE/Contractors, with roles split across Technical Specialist and Implementation Planning resources.
- Build strong, daily, international working relationships with the other 1st and 2nd level Operations Teams.
- Ensure best practices and Compliance / governance requirements are followed, whilst ensuring the highest levels of service are maintained.
- Maintain close relationship with the Operations 2nd level Support teams, Common Platform Release Team and the majority of the Common Platform Development teams.
- Ensure all operational requirements, standards and best practices are factored in to the planning phase for all releases, whilst balancing service, time to market and cost in the best interests of the Eikon business.
- Ensure Operations resources and timescales are correctly represented in the release/project plans and that these plans can be delivered against in the committed manner.
- Ensure compliance to defined standards and technical policies.
- Facilitate the physical build of all infrastructures via partners in Technology Operations.
